This book was conceived during the teaching of business analytics courses at the University of North Florida (UNF), including ‘Applications of Business Analytics,’ ‘Programming for Data Science,’ and ‘Computing Practicum.’ It draws from chapters of two open-access texts: ‘Data Analysis and Prediction Algorithms with R’ by Rafael Irizarry, and ‘Interpretable Machine Learning: A Guide for Making Black Box Models Explainable’ by Christoph Molnar.
