100 Chapter 11 Conclusion

In this chapter we looked at:

  • Piaget’s concrete operational stage of cognitive development.
  • How children process information.
  • Intelligence testing.
  • Language and communication development.
  • Learning difficulties.

In the next chapter, we will be examining school-aged children’s developing understanding of themselves and the world around them and the widening influences on their social and emotional development.[1]
