119 Chapter 13 Conclusion

In this chapter we looked at:

  • Physical growth and the changes in the body during puberty
  • Eating disorders
  • Risk factors, and consequences of adolescent pregnancy and sexual health
  • Factors contributing to increased mental health issues for adolescence
  • Symptoms and treatment approaches associated with select mental health disorders

In the next chapter we will look at adolescent cognitive development.[1]
